Why I developed the seminar "Pregnant in Balance"

Pregnancy changes everything: the body, perception, needs, and often the relationship to one's own strength. That is exactly why it was important for me to develop a seminar that holistically supports pregnant women and assists midwives and professionals with gentle, effective methods.

Together with my colleague Beate, I developed the concept "Pregnant in Balance with BellaBambi® Cups"—a training that combines modern fascial work, naturopathy, and the gentle use of BellaBambi® Cups.

How the idea came about

The foundations for this seminar have grown over many years. Even during my own pregnancies, I paid close attention to how important relaxation in the body is—especially in the jaw area.

The jaw has been my personal passion for many years. Through my work in a dental practice, I was able to gain a lot of experience and observe how closely the jaw, neck, pelvis, and posture are connected.

Midwives have long paid attention to ensuring that women can keep their jaws relaxed during childbirth. This is often a key to more relaxation throughout the entire body.

Later, I began to combine this knowledge with the possibilities of BellaBambi® Cups. Together with Beate, who contributed her expertise in naturopathy and fascial work, a well-rounded and holistic concept gradually emerged.

What is taught in the seminar

The seminar aims to provide midwives and professionals with practical tools to mindfully support pregnant women—from pregnancy through the postpartum period.

The content includes, among other things:

  • Basics of cupping with BellaBambi®
  • Safe and pregnancy-appropriate application
  • Relaxation of the jaw, neck, and pelvic floor
  • Support for hormonal and structural changes
  • Applications during the postpartum period
  • Impulses for postpartum recovery
  • Scar care and tissue support
  • Practical tips for direct work with pregnant women

What is especially important to me is the connection between the jaw and the pelvic floor. These two areas are closely related. When tensions in the jaw are released, it often has a positive effect on the entire body.

Why this topic is so important to me

I personally support pregnant women with treatments and often work along these connection lines in the body – from the jaw through the neck down to the pelvic floor.

For me, BellaBambi® Cups are a wonderful tool to apply gentle stimuli, promote awareness, and support the body in its changes.

So much changes incredibly during pregnancy. Every structure in the body needs attention. And when the baby is born, the focus often shifts entirely to the child – while the mother’s needs fade into the background.

But topics like postpartum recovery, scar care, tissue relief, or one’s own body awareness also need space and support.

This seminar aims to provide exactly that kind of inspiration.

A seminar based on experience and conviction

"Pregnant in Balance with BellaBambi® Cups" was created from personal experience, professional knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm.

It fills me with joy to see how midwives and professionals pass on this knowledge and support pregnant women in a special phase of life – mindfully, gently, and holistically.

Supporting Pregnancy with BellaBambi® Cups

Pregnancy means change – physically, emotionally, and often mentally as well. That’s exactly why my colleague Beate and I developed the seminar “Pregnant in Balance with BellaBambi® Cups.” Our goal was to provide midwives and professionals with a holistic concept to mindfully support pregnant women – from pregnancy through the postpartum period. The focus is on the gentle possibilities of BellaBambi® Cups: for relaxing the jaw, neck, and pelvic floor, supporting hormonal changes, and promoting body awareness and regeneration. Especially important to me is the connection between the jaw and pelvic floor – two areas that are closely linked and influence each other.

Cupping physiotherapy

Gabriele Kiesling, physiotherapy expert and owner of the German Institute for Quality in Physiotherapy (diqp), describes her Cupping approach, which is suitable for both laypeople and professional users alike.

Regeneration on the go: Why Cupping is a real gamechanger when hiking

Cupping is a practical addition to any hiking tour: lightweight, versatile, and ideal for small moments of recovery on the go. Here you will learn why silicone cups should not be missing from any backpack.

Stretching in Yoga: Cupping gets the tissue moving again

Stretching in yoga does not just mean going deeper into a pose. The real change happens in the tissue. Fascia stores tension, loses elasticity without regular movement, and thus affects how free your body feels. This is exactly where Cupping can help: The gentle suction lifts the tissue, fluid starts moving again, and tensions can release more easily. Especially in forward bends or side stretches, this often creates more ease without you having to actively apply more pressure. It is not intensity that changes the body, but the quality of the movement in the tissue.

Breathing in Yoga: When the Breath Finds Space in the Body Again Through Cupping

Breathing is reflected in the body and responds immediately to posture, tension, and internal states. When the chest tightens, breathing also loses space and depth – many people breathe shallowly, irregularly, or only in the upper chest area. Persistent tension, sedentary activities, and tightness in the back, chest, or shoulder-neck area restrict the mobility of the ribs and make free breathing difficult.Cupping can specifically support here: By stimulating the skin, fascia, and muscles, the tissue is mobilized, tensions can be released, and the chest gains mobility. Breathing becomes freer, deeper, and more consciously perceptible. Especially when applied along the ribs, in the area of the diaphragm and sternum, Cupping helps to open the breathing space and strengthen awareness of one’s own breathing. This creates a natural access to breathing – not through conscious control, but through immediate sensation.
